Do the Locomotive

Last week the two little ones and I had some time to kill before we picked up Truman from school.  We left golf, swirved off the freeway, and ended up at Travel Town Museum in Griffith Park.  I love impromptu field trips.  No headaches.  No hassles.  It was an easy, breezy kind of outing:

Portia loved watching the train go by us over and over:

I enjoyed the shady areas:

While Presley preferred the outdoor, sunny areas:

Before heading back we caught a peak inside the Holden's Corner learning center:

It's days like this I feel so lucky to be able to raise the kids in L.A. where they can feel free and be full of life:
