Summer begins...

Truman made it through his first preschool semester at Sage Academy with flying colors. Sure, there were a few clingy morning drop-offs and the nail scratching incident with Miss Audra. Or the disobedient behavior he had one day when he refused to use the potty or wash his hands. Overall he had a blast. I will miss him coming home with abstract art which Truman would say was a squid or raccoon. I will miss our intellectual talks about his friends with interesting names like Leonardo and Joaquin. But most of all I will yearn for my free 4 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and count the days till I get those free hours back in September plus 4 additional hours when he starts the 3 days a week.

His end of the year show was a success today even though Truman didn't sing one word of Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light and Choo-Choo Train song. His mouth didn't move and he looked like he couldn't wait for the whole thing to be over. Anyway, he looked adorable in his Ben Sherman button down shirt under his velvet jacket with vintage washed whiskered jeans. He may never sing the part but he always wears the part well:
