I love anything that's custom-made or personalized.  It always feels special in a "had you in mind" kind of way.  For Bianca's bridal shower I made some personalized cork coasters in place of traditional place cards.  This was an easy DIY project which only took a little over an hour.

Ikea sells a 4/pack of cork coasters for $1.00! And I borrowed a heart stencil from a teacher at Portia's preschool.  I know, I know.  How does a mother of 3 not have a heart stencil or cookie cutter??

I found paint in the garage from when we painted our house.  Open windows and wear a mask. Toxic!

Coasters was not a difficult craft to take on but multi-tasking along side confectioners sugar was!
