It's been three weeks since school started and I think the kids are finally settled into their new classes, teachers, and work expectations. For me, I'm still denying Fall and hoping mother nature made a seasonal mistake. Obviously, I want them to have the best education possible but wouldn't it be great if there was no homework anxiety or stress strings attached (I'm talking about me)!!?? Like summer school...the learning is there but without all the parental bullying.
The one, best part about summer school is all the artwork that followed the boys home. I looked forward to seeing their daily creations and it certainly makes up for the lack of decorations in our home:
About two years ago, I started digitizing all the kids artwork after the art bins in the garage were overflowing. It's so easy to photograph and you feel so organizing for doing so. It sort of becomes routine when you've done it enough times. I'd be lying if I said I toss everything. Some are too darn precious.
The master plan is to create a photo book to highlight all their mini masterpieces for them to look back on. It will be a special keepsake for them to have forever.
What do you do with all your kids artwork?
