December was stress-free for a change. Decorations went up right after Thanksgiving and gifts were wrapped early. I managed to make it to all the kids holiday activities at school. My Christmas eve dinner was catered. And I didn't get sick till after Christmas.
Christmas looked something like this...
Sticky fingers.
Permanent ink stains.
And snowflake frames.
A minimal faux mantel.
And an unscented faux tree. We converted this year.
My nephew joined the church Christmas choir.
We walked in a winter wonderland.
Rocked around the Christmas tree.
And made Frosty times 3.
David missed ALL the kids Christmas performances. He had to work and I forgot to order the DVD. YIKES!
Indoor twinkle.
Outdoor sparkle.
Hosted Christmas eve dinner.
Party-goers.
Party animals.
Homemade cards.
Tablets for them.
Mess for me.
And a forever home for him. Pickles Hui came home for the pawlidays.
It's going to be a great 2016!
