Truman shared some heart wrenching news. We cried together in my arms after he told me what some mean boys had done. David says I have to be strong for him but it's hard to hold back tears when you see the sadness in your child's eyes. I wish 6 yr old boys could take an empathy pill before school to help recognize their own wrong doings. I was so ready for a new day:
And what better way to soothe an ailing heart than to take a nature walk with my girl:
We had all the necessities fit for girl in search of little critters:
We searched for butterflies:
And looked closely for ladybugs:
Being outdoors was just what I needed to lift my spirits. I hoped Truman was having a better day too.
