Mommy gets a brand new do

8 years of marriage and 3 kids later, David still loves taking pictures of me. Truth be told I don't like myself in pictures. I made an exception because I wanted to document this day as probably "the best hair day of my life".

God...please pause and rewind this moment over and over again so that I could relive my blown-out soft curls, swaying back and forth over my shoulders:

A cut, color, and blow dry is just what I needed to make me feel like a brand new woman.  But I forgot to tell this brand new woman that this "best hair day of my life" look needs to be maintained every 6 weeks.  Crap.
