The LAPL's (Los Angeles Public Library) summer reading club is upon us and we had to find a new library fast. We kept getting kicked out of our usual place. Turns out my kids are too loud. We found our new home at Mid-Valley Regional. The charming children's section is surrounded by a wondrous landscape mural with a story time area hidden under a magical teepee as the main focal point.
Lots of seating areas for their little tushies:
Over sized pillow pets to snuggle with:
and lots of natural light that casts a spell on this child-like space:
They have a ton of weekly programs that will keep us coming. We left with bags and game boards after signing up for the summer reading club. Favorite part, it's free. Best part, the kids will continue their love for reading all summer long. I love this place.
