With love from Manhattan Beach

Manhattan Beach pier

This is what the Manhattan Beach pier and the Roundhouse Aquarium look like...at 4 pm...on a Thursday.  Gorgeous turquoise skies, perfect warm weather, and an ocean breeze you want to inhale:

Truman giggled every time he touched some prickly starfish or sea life at the aquarium:

They have a quaint second story children's area filled with books and puzzles where you can relax and play on a big round rug:

What kind of beach day would it be without a shark sighting:

Next time we're wearing bathing suits and spending all day on the sand.  I promised them:

Downtown has so many great eateries and local owned boutiques.  But I couldn't resist Manhattan Beach Creamery.  How many SWEET shoppes have I been to this summer? I stopped counting:

Look at those handcrafted ice cream sandwiches cream'wiches and chocolate dipped frozen bananas calling my name:

This little piece of heaven by the sea is also surrounded by sky high candy towers:

designer cupcakes called Cupcakes Couture and hand made ice cream:

I have a feeling we'll be back to downtown Manhattan Beach...next summer...for a couple weeks...in a rental.  I just I have let David in on my plans:
