Venturing out to different parts of L.A. when the kids are out of school is what I LOVE about summer. We drove out to Highland Park where a gem of a historical museum stands, The Los Angeles Police Museum.

With just a week left before school starts, cramming in summer is going to be challenging. There's still so many fun things to do/see on my bucket list. It just might have to carry over into winter.
