Actually...I hosted a play date on the first day of summer break, moms included. Yep, I opened my home and looked past my smudgy windows, dusty baseboards, and swifter-less floors. I mean I didn't even bother clearing the school work clutter off the dining room table or even putting disposable hand towels in the bathroom.
My level of cleanliness and role of first-class host is just unachievable in the summer.
If you're willing to look past my dirt, cause I won't look at yours if you won't look at mine, then my freezer is your freezer.
Not sure why.
Perhaps another school year gone by too soon.
I'm running out of time with them.
They need me less and soon I'll need to find another pet project.
They passed their last note.
Sang one last song...with braces on!!
And said so long to early bird bus departures. (He always closes the door on me ☹.)
Now the kids have more time for soccer matches...
Slime parties...
And boba dates.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my last days of freedom.
Hasta La Vista 2018-2019!
