We made it to Christmas!

And despite the daily rise in deaths and COVID-19 numbers I'm trying to keep things jolly and festive here.

The lights have been strung and lit, and our faux, unscented Christmas tree is decked out.

I mean, there is so much to be thankful for - a roof over our heads, technology to keep us connected, our negative COVID-19 results, and endless Netflix nights.

We have plenty of food to nourish us so we've been giving to those who need it most.

We've been packing brown bag lunches for families in need. Such a small task that makes a big impact in ones life.

Our monthly drop-offs is a reminder there is still so much good in the world.

Being able to use food to gather together has always been my go-to for getting the kids off their screens.

My little helpers!

What does your dumpling fold say about you?

Golf game days have been cancelled for the rest of December due to the new "safer at home" order which means more quality time together.

A blessing and a curse??

The holidays give you another pass to slow down and put things off.

Like boycotting dirty dishes.

I love trying new food vendors.

The holidays are about receiving warmth in the mail.

But also frozen surprises from loved ones when you least expect it. Thank you Marion for the six pints of ice cream. It surely is the most wonderful time of the year.

My QuaranTeam came over for dinner on Christmas Eve.

I try to savor every moment with my brother, sister, and Dad since it seems as we get older, we get busy, and our time together becomes too far, too few.

Sometimes, I get a glimpse of my Mom when I see my sister. They are so much alike.

Cousins make family gatherings bearable.

And they form the best social pods.

My sis-n-law made the most beautiful sugar cookies which we passed on to Santa.

Santa must have gotten the vaccine because he didn't disappointment.

It was a magical morning mess.

In honor of our late Mr. Pickles...

We started a fun game of finding The Christmas Pickle ornament. Thank you Loretta for gifting us a new idea to add to our holiday traditions.

Truman found it this year!

Merry Christmas from leftovers to leftovers, heart to heart...

And home to home. XOXO!
