Is it time to put away our corduroy pants and argyle sweaters yet?
Let's never see a puffer jacket ever again.

Please, no more neck gaiters.

(Unless it's another color other than black).

Slurping our way through these chilly months are over.
Adios winter.
Hola spring.
It's Cinco De Mayo in March. Actually, every month is Cinco De Mayo with Jenn.
David used to travel for work at least one or two times a year. But since COVID-19 he hasn't been on a business trip for almost four years until last month.

He traded up our windy SoCal storm for Hollywood, Florida's 80 degree sunshine.

I picked up his shifts and managed the household while he was living the good life on someone else's expense account (upside is I got my remote back).
You could spot my husband at any team building event. He'll be the only one wearing pants and shoes on the beach.

Meal planning consisted of take-out.

I don't do dishes when David is out-of-town.
He missed Presley's play-off game.
But modern technology sat him courtside.
When will he realize...
He's always my G.O.A.T...
And they're my starting five.
David misses the kids (and ramen) so much when he travels.
When he got home, we had a fancy ramen dinner at Tonchin LA. Their bathroom is where all the fun happens.
I'd like to think when he's away he misses me the most.
Someone kept his side of the bed warm until he got home.
Rainy days called for Ree Drummond's Mac & Cheese.

Nothing says comfort food like golden, crispy tahdig. My Pars tahdig rice cooker inflates my ego every time.
Tried and true chocolate chip cookies for any weather.
Wasn't me.
Guilty.
When it comes to doormats, the bath towel is the gold standard in drying shoes.
The sun finally came out.
Dry enough for outdoor spring cleaning shredding.
And lunch under an umbrella of green foliage.
April March showers bring May April flowers is more like it.
Warm solar rays improve rest and rejuvenation.
Sigh. Summer can't come soon enough.
