We drove up into the foggy, wet city of San Jose to check out San Jose State University. However, there was no haze and no rain. Just cloudy, gray (at times blue) skies and perfect temps.

Truman got accepted into the college of engineering school at SJSU so we were there to check out the urban landscaped campus and sights of silicon valley during spring break.

On behalf of Growing Up Hui, welcome to the San Jose 3-day tech tour.

Beginning with loaded garlic fries.

Few of us had indigestion after this meal.

Hotel catwalk to the nearest bathroom.

First leg of the trip led us to eBay headquarters.

"Buy it. Sell it. Love it."

Then an interactive museum experience at the headquarters of the semiconductor giant, Intel.

Learned how technological history and innovation came in one itty, bitty chip.

Even the immersive lobby was awe inspiring.

Portia looks so much like Presley here.

Selfie with mom before heading to dinner at Japantown.

Pro-Android family heads to Apple Park on the second day.

Naturesque on the roof terrace.

Thinks he's in a music video.

iphones on one side, coffee bar on the other.

Mac-cucino.

To be here, or not to be here? That is the question.

Retail stop at Brandy Melville for the girl on Santana Row.

Dinner at Chef Morimoto's Momosan.

Milkshaking for dessert.

On the last day we headed to Stanford and passed by the suburban home of the founding site of Hewlett-Packard, birthplace of Silicon Valley.

Then zebra crossed to the all new Google Visitor Experience.

Riding around on a GBike would definitely improve my overall mental health.

Spotted: A handsome Googler in the store!!

Lunch on their outdoor patio.

Under the Halo, just one of the incredible art installations laid out on the mountain view campus.

One and only family photo of the trip. Thank you Google for the kaleidoscopic backdrop.

Bathroom break.

Last leg of the tour at Steve Jobs home where he built the first Apple computer in his garage.

My anti-apple family can appreciate how one man's invention, vision and creativity revolutionized the computer and tech industry.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, that concludes the end of the tour. Thanks for following along!
Update: Truman is undecided about SJSU. The college decision tours continue...
