Pollen in love with spring

Spring season sparks a sense of renewal!

The air feels lighter and brighter.

Daylight hours run longer.

And warmer weather evenings are rising. 

New routines and rethinking our habits seem possible. 

Or not.

Projects that've been put to the side get done.

Because you know the payoff will be big!

Basking in Spring's beauty includes potted blooms.

And bright tablescapes.

Truman's spring break aligned with the kids spring break this year allowing us to comingle all our energy and optimism together.

We made it to church on Easter, out of the house by 9:30 am and in our pews by 10 am! Portia in a dress! Presley buttoned up a collared shirt! Truman wore his best black uniform! 

(Because he had no luck finding anything at the thrift shop). Still, a win for the Hui fam!

The sermon was inspiring, the congregation was uplifting, and the music was "tuff" as Truman said. The whole worship service was tender and heartfelt. 

Later that day, we watched The Felix and Bianca Cooking Show.

Then played with the Siberian Chan Twins.  Hazel likes to hide, and we seek.

Teddy likes to show off his blank, unwavering stares.

Bet he can't eye track to the right. 

Then to the left.

And back to the right.

 

The Hui's Great Easter Egg Hunt of 2026 was so financially fun. 

Peeps and chocolate eggs are a thing of the past.

It's all about the green loot now.

Cash over chocolate is a much healthier option anyway.
