David surprised Truman in the morning with new shoelaces:

Nap time pranks:

"Swow down Pweswy, swow down!":

When you can't make fresh dumplings there's always the frozen variety kind at the Chinese market:

Vacuum sealed taro!!

She knows her way around a restroom now:

His side part that reminds me when he was 3-4 years old:

Speckled concrete:

It's Open House at Truman's school:

No corner was left unturned:

Truman used to tell me he wanted to be a paleontologist when he grew up:

Hot dog sushi!!

Truman's Chinese class had their end-of-the-year party.  Not a very traditional feast when it's catered by Panda Express and your local Chinese American restaurants!

Celebrating Cinco De Mayo...5 days later:

A.K.A. happy hour/date night with David:

That was round 1.  This was round 2:

David and I used to stroll and window shop A LOT before we had the kids:

We used to hang out at book stores too!

Unbelievably ugly:

Sun is shining bright on Mother's Day morning:

I woke up to tulips:

Iris's with yellow blooming friends:

and my favorite breakfast set on the table:

David hiking with us is a sight you don't see often.  It REALLY must be a special day:

Bathroom break:

Absolutely perfect!!

Because we ate all that bread for breakfast, David made a juicy, amazing, STEAK...

S A L A D!!

This is how I found him in Portia's room after lunch.  Poor guy. Tired from taking on all Mommy duties:

Colorful light boxes lit up our sushi dinner:

For Mother's Day I was showered with flowers, gifts, love, and good food.  It helps when the family has a little guidance:

Happy "Mother's Day" weekend!
