Summer is one big permission slip to bow out on responsibilities while surrendering to lazy, lingering days.
Since returning from San Marcos and our stop over in Brick city...

We've gotten back into a routine with a loosely based schedule. The kids are still whining and fighting but overall they're happy and we're enjoying this unwinding season with adventures in mind.
Well, a couple weeks ago we had a pest exterminator spray our house. Water bugs have welcomed themselves in our home. He also put rat traps in the attic...eeeeekkk!!

We also have a bad case of laundry. But I have full-time helpers for the next two months!

We finally have shade with a chance of 98F.

My fear of heights kick in every time I see David on the roof.

Portia and I have been spending a lot of one-on-on time together while the boys are at summer school.

I got everyone signed up for the summer reading program. And we listened to Jay Vincent, music composer of Ninjago perform at the library again.

I could definitely manage two more kids. I think I'll be aching till I'm 50. Sigh...

Hope you're summer is sizzling, cause let's be real, it's the only season that matters!
