Hello from the valley hillbillies!!!
It takes a lot of quarters to feed all the animals at Underwood Family Farms.
Sand boxes spark an array of food concoctions. #1 made me chicken pot pie. #2 made me sand soup. And #3 made me blueberry mochi cupcakes.
Swinging into action.
I'm making it a point this summer to take more "mom was here" pics. Less hiding behind the lens and more of myself with the kids in front of the camera.
In due time, they'll want to see more pics of me and less of them.
I hope they see how present I was.
And that every minute with them was a gift.
It's been two years since we went beaching at the Hansen Dam Aquatic Center.
It doesn't compare to the coast but this week, I chose man-made rocks, water slides and a 20 minute drive.
David thinks it's ghetto. I think it's ghetto fabulous!!
Favorite text of the week from him while he was at work. I get a mama boost every time he makes comments like this.
We made watermelon juice!
Caught a hula hoop contest.
Concluded summer school (five weeks went by fast!!).
And unfortunately, summer is not here to last :(.
We went pedal boating!!
Nothing can tear them apart. Until the fighting and screaming gets going...
One was in tears.
Two weren't talking to each other.
I was in my own thoughts.
Even the birds were like shut the hell up.
All was quickly forgiven...until the next time.
