Here is this weeks journal entry from Truman. His persona of being serious and hard-edged is evidently masked by a sensitive, so in-tuned to his feelings little boy.
Every week he writes a journal entry on whatever he wants. This is helping him express his feelings and emotions on paper not worrying about spelling or grammar.
This is my favorite journal entry thus far:
Kola was with me for 14 years. He passed away 3 months before Truman was born. They never had a chance to meet. I tell the kids that Kola is with us all the time because he's our sweetest angel.
Was it all the kisses and licks Kola placed on my belly while Truman was in utero that connects him to a dog he's never met? I'd like to think so.
It is not a coincidence that Truman was born Year of the Dog.
