Happy juice & poison drip

What's your poison?

I'm behind in posting all things pumpkins and kids Halloween disguises from 2018.  That's right, two years ago! I found these photos on my phone when I was swifting through this years Halloween photos.  From what I remember I was really tired and there were no folding origami pineapple rinds or fitting into ramen bowl costumes like years before but I did manage to...

Swap carving tools for paintbrushes drenched in blood.

I went through the trouble to attach labels on store bought class loot.

Ordered Portia's costume and had it delivered in time for her choir costume/pizza party.

Volunteered for pumpkin math with 2nd graders who are excellent at counting by 10's.

Carved out time with my nephews at the church fall festival after I drove 45 miles to take Presley to art school.

Taking him every Saturday for a year was exhausting.

But I'd do anything for him.

My sister werk'ed as a carny for a day.

Cleared my schedule for a cupcake break.

Snuck out for Jenn's 40th birthday on a school night!!!

Converted our dining room to set up a command post for Presley's posters.  He was the 4th grade Historian in charge for making posters for all the spirit days and school events.

One of my favs. That green witch rubber ducky is everything!!

I remember the kids Halloween parade was scorching hot.  I forgot my hat, caught severe sun damage, grew a few sun spots but all worth it to lock eyes with a queen.

She's such a girl's girl.

David and I escaped to the beach where he showed me what "getting drinks" was all about.

Mustered a couple hours of trick or treating in the neighborhood.

The best part was collecting candy with friends.

Didn't hate myself in the morning because I remembered to snap an official Halloween 2018 photo of all three.

Halloween 2018 sure looked different compared to this years Halloween in a time of COVID-19.
