
We spent the first week of winter vacation at, now, one of our favorite Mexican beach resort cities, Puerto Vallarta. The kids discovered the term all-inclusive and how it could solve all of life's problems. Five days was certainly not enough time to devise a plan on how to convince David we should stay for five more days. We captured this one last family photo before leaving paradise...rested, relaxed, and minutes away from wanting to miss our flight home.

We were reunited with Mr. Pickles right after we touched down. Although his resort did not offer an all-inclusive package, he received a lovely spa day and was provided with cage-free accommodations.
