Welcome to our three week rest-cation.
We had lots of snuggling nights.

Communion over sushi and hand rolls.

Caroling against holiday, shimmery lights.

Skill, strategy, scrambled eggs, and stove-top bacon.

Gingerbread dreams of living in a prefab home.

Tall, dark, and oh, so handsome.

My sis-n-law was here for six weeks!

All the sisters and nieces waited to be swept away by The Nutcracker.

Then we raised our little pinkies at Chado Tea in Hollywood.

I shared a piece of my youth with the kids and took them to Swingers Diner. They still have the best tuna melts in all of L.A.

We were up the street at the Beastie Boys exhibit.

Two miracles happened on Christmas eve: we went to church.

And we took a family photo.

Afterwards, we hosted dinner at home and David taught my nephew had to shuck oysters!

Everyone drove home safely.

Christmas in plaid.

Holiday windfall. Thank you Guh Ma.

My four-legged nephew Charlie invited us over for Christmas Day brunch.
He has a beautiful breakfast nook. You should see the rest of the house.

On the way to shabu shabu in K-town.

Shiso at Majordomo. My sister swiped my crystalized ginger.

Bamboo installations at Japan House.

If Presley is a big shopper does that make me a big spender?

Ate...way...too...much...ramen.

My doctor says I have stress due to "family tension".

Anna made a quiche and invited all the girls over for a potluck meal.

A few days prior, we got dressed up to go to The Magic Castle. I wore heels!

My new favorite latte at Claudine's Kitchen and Bakeshop called the Vale Vale: oat milk latte with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a double shot of espresso. It's me in a mug!

Hoodies, slides and socks.

HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW.

Krispy Kreme when in Burbank rocks.

Ice skating day with Penny.

The world is your freezer at Monty's.

Can't take my eyes off you.

Too many chefs in the kitchen at Ramen Nagi.

My first Ike's sandwich with Portia. We shared the #394 The Contessa.

There are only two seasons. Winter and basketball.

Here's to 2023!
